Job summary

Anew Era TMS in Austin, TX is seeking a diligent TMS Technician to deliver in-office therapeutic treatments under a physician's direction, while providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. You will coordinate with providers and office staff to schedule visits, verify patient information, collect payments, and operate medical equipment, with emphasis on empathy and teamwork.

The role requires HS diploma and a preference for healthcare experience; schedule is 30–40 hours weekly,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma Required
• Familiarity with clinical scheduling and insurance principles
• One or more years of related experience in a healthcare setting, preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers, admissions, and practice administrator to assure patient scheduling and care delivery is completed timely and effectively
• Address any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms
• Responsible for operating a medical/mechanical device
• Support office with daily operations of the facility to include knowledge of all aspects of behavioral health services
• Check in or check-out patients, verifies demographics with each clinic visit
• Verify/collect payments for all patient check-in
• Answers telephones on a timely basis and takes messages/schedules appointments as necessary
• Explain and administer patient treatment procedures
• Utilize patient scheduling software
• Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
• Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation

Position Summary:

This position offers an opportunity to provide excellent patient care and customer service with a breakthrough treatment modality for the treatment of depression. As a TMS Technician you will administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of a treating physician. In addition to managing clinical services, you will interact regularly with patients with a focus on customer service and administrative support. Looking for a candidate with great interpersonal skills, empathy, and a team player.

Employment Status: full time

Schedule: 30-40 hours per week between 7am and 7pm with two saturdays per month.

Work Location: On Site - Auston, TX

Compensation: Pay Range: $19-$23/hr.
