Job summary

Springborn Staffing's healthcare client in Salem, New Hampshire seeks two dedicated and compassionate part-time Medical Assistants to support TMS treatments and patient care in a growing psychotherapy practice. 100% on-site, 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a 90-day temp-to-hire period.

You will administer TMS per physician plans, monitor safety, educate patients, document sessions and progress, maintain equipment, and assist with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating TMS equipment preferred; training provided.
• Clinical experience in mental/behavioral health or inpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Phlebotomy, X-ray procedures, medication administration, and vital signs experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Medical Assisting certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments according to physician plans.
• Monitor patients during treatment to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, answering questions and providing reassurance.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, patient progress, and clinical records.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition or safety concerns to the clinical team.
• Maintain treatment equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized environment.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Assist with general administrative and office support duties as needed.

In this role, you will provide essential clinical and administrative support to ensure the safe, efficient, and patient-centered delivery of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for individuals experiencing mental health conditions such as depression. The ideal candidate will possess a clinical background in patient care, HIPAA standards, and office management, with a focus on fostering a welcoming environment that promotes healing and well-being.

Position Details:

• Temp-to-hire (90-day trial period)
• 100% on-site in Salem, NH
• Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week

Duties:

• Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments according to physician treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating TMS equipment is desired, but full training is offered
• Prior clinical experience in mental/behavioral health, or an inpatient setting is desired
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems)
• Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, X-ray procedures, medication administration, and vital signs measurement
• Familiarity with hospital experience standards including inpatient care protocols or hospital medicine practices
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Certification in Medical Assisting is desired, but not required
