Job summary

Northeast Health Services, a member of Transformations Care Network, is hiring a TMS Technician to oversee TMS clinical services and provide exceptional client care. You will set up the TMS device, monitor sessions, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding safety and privacy standards.

Join a team dedicated to evidence-based mental health treatments and compassionate support for clients with depression, providing reliable service and coordination with physicians and coordinators.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of medical office experience (Preferred)
  • Medical Assistant training (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical authorizations (Preferred)
  • Completion of TMS Certification during training
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA.
  • CPR Certified (or willing to obtain certification)

Responsibilities

  • Provide TMS treatment according to physician protocols and monitor sessions
  • Enter client information and record notes and superbill daily
  • Communicate with clients with empathy to support recovery from depression
  • Maintain client safety by using PPE as required
  • Schedule and manage client appointments across services
  • Troubleshoot TMS setup and assist with device readiness
  • Raise concerns to TMS coordinator or physician when needed
  • Follow company policies and adhere to regulations
  • Coordinate with Neuronetics or other reps as needed

Job description

As a TMS Technician, you'll be an essential part of our clinical support team. TMS Techs work directly with clients to provide future-oriented and evidence-based treatments. Your primary role is to oversee TMS clinical services as well as provide exceptional customer service to make sure the highest quality work standards are achieved and maintained according to practice policies and procedures. These team members appreciate the ability to build rapport with clients and support them as they receive relief from treatment resistant depression. In this role, you will be able to witness the powerful impact of our services on the clients you work with as they find hope in your support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide TMS treatment according to specific physician protocols: Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for client comfort and treatment accuracy.
  • Accurately enter all client information required into the system and record session notes and superbill by end of the day.
  • Effective communication skills that provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to clients struggling with depression or other various disorders
  • Provide excellent client care and treat them with compassion while developing trust and rapport.
  • Administer psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes on modalities.
  • Schedule and maintain client appointments relative to all services offered that encompass client treatment.
  • Have flexibility with time schedules to fit client needs and requirements.
  • Answer client phone calls and adjust the schedule to client needs, as necessary.
  • Maintain client safety by wearing personal protective equipment as required.
  • Assist with the client resource center and integrate the current and potential client.
  • Investigate and communicate insurance coverage and verification issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with client comfort, coil contact, and TMS system set-up throughout treatment.
  • Possess basic clinical assessment skills to identify real or potential adverse events during treatment where treatment should be interrupted or terminated.
  • Communicate concerns to the TMS coordinator, clinical director, or physician when necessary.
  • Follows company policies and procedures as well as adhering to state and/or federal regulations.
  • Work with the necessary Neuronetics or other various representatives to accomplish other various duties.

Northeast Health Services is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly compensation range for this role is $20 – $25. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role. These ranges represent our current standard compensation practices and may be adjusted over time to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
