Job summary

Point Global Logistics is seeking a TMS Application Manager to own our Transportation Management System and lead initiatives that improve efficiency, data integrity, and scalability across the supply chain. This onsite role in Humble, Texas partners with operations, leadership, users, software vendors, and implementation partners to plan upgrades, manage integrations, and support adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (required).
Experience administering and supporting enterprise applications (5+ years).
Experience with Transportation Management Systems such as Magaya, CargoWise, or comparable platforms.
Hands-on experience with major system implementations, upgrades, migrations, or patch cycles.
Strong knowledge of system configuration, APIs, integrations, databases, and data structures.
Proactive, communicative, and able to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain workflows, user roles, permissions, security, and system settings.
Monitor performance, analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations.
Plan upgrades, patches, releases, testing, and cutovers with post-launch support.
Oversee integrations with other business applications and ensure data integrity.
Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
Create documentation and training to promote user adoption.
