Job summary

Crane is seeking a seasoned technical support professional for Transportation Management System (TMS) applications. You will act as the TMS expert, ensuring system integrity and handling setup, control processes, troubleshooting, and optimization.

You will collaborate with Operations and Finance to review issues, provide insights, and drive enhancements. Strong communication, analysis, and reporting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical support for applications, such as Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Be an expert on TMS logic and functionality.
• Ensure system integrity, setup and control processes.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of software applications.
• Interface with Operations and Finance to review issues and changes, provide insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve site technical issues affecting usage.
• Investigate and recommend new technologies for the company.
• Work with system vendors to obtain costs for enhancements.
• Design, develop, test, and implement changes to improve service levels and reduce costs.
• Assist in developing site and customer reporting; analyze discrepancies.
• Conduct feasibility analyses on solutions, processes and equipment.
• Monitor system performance and perform maintenance/ backups.
• Support customer-facing integration and implementation projects.
