Citizens of the World Los Angeles (CWC Hollywood) is seeking a full-time Student Support Associate and After School Mentor to lead engaging, developmentally aligned after-school programming for TK–8 students in Los Angeles. The role includes classroom support, outdoor play supervision, and individualized assistance for students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in TK-8 education settings is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with behavior management and inclusive instruction.
• Comfort working in a socio-economically and culturally diverse classroom.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with after-school programming including academics, recreation, and enrichment.
• Support teachers with progress data and reporting on student achievement.
• Promote social-emotional learning in classrooms and play areas.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and outdoor activities.
• Assist in implementing IEP and 504 plan modifications when needed.
