Job summary

Citizens of the World Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Student Support Associate at CWC West Valley - Winnetka, CA. The role focuses on classroom, outdoor play, and individualized student support for students with disabilities within a collaborative charter school environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, tailoring instruction, and promoting social-emotional learning. You will report to the School Leadership Team and work closely with the LA Lead Teacher to build an engaged school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or a minimum of 48 college-level credit hours required.
• Experience with students with disabilities or inclusive education is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with ongoing student progress and achievement data collection and reporting.
• Support classroom, outdoor play, and individualized student activities to foster a positive school culture.
• Collaborate with staff to provide interventions and support for English Language Learners and struggling learners.
• Maintain safety and discipline in playgrounds and common areas; supervise students during lunch and recess.
• Contribute to social-emotional learning initiatives and school-wide community events.
