Job summary

The Title Specialist I at Cox Automotive in Columbus, Ohio, will accurately process vehicle titles by verifying title information and resolving issues with clients and regulatory agencies. The role supports training and adherence to NextGear procedures and customer service standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Requires a High School Diploma/GED and under 2 years' experience; familiarity with Microsoft Office. Compensation is $16.59–$24.86 per hour, with PTO and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be organized with good time management and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review titles for negotiability and reassign titles for clients.
• Complete applications for new titles on behalf of clients as needed.
• Facilitate lien perfection on financed collateral when required.
• Release liens on collateral paid in full per policy.
• Communicate with clients and agencies to resolve title questions via email, ServiceNOW, and phone.
• Assist senior Title Specialists on complex title issues.
• Maintain workflow standards and meet production and quality goals.
