OPENLANE is hiring a Title Specialist to manage post-sale title processing and compliance at our Carmel, IN site. You will verify documents, generate reports, and ensure timely handling of titles in our service levels.

The role requires 2+ years in title work, strong customer service, and notary eligibility within 6 months. A calm, proactive communicator with attention to detail will excel here.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in title work required.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, time management and problem solving.
• Must type 55 WPM and have strong 10-key typing skills.
• Notary public license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Title Clerks with title processing.
• Focus on prompt resolution of title problems for clients and buyers.
• Prepare weekly reports showing title status for clients.
• Request duplicate titles as needed per OPENLANE policy.
• Ensure timely return of title on voided sales to reduce loss.
• Maintain SOP documentation and training materials.
• Scan titles into electronic format and track documents.
• Create shipping labels and send titles to buyers daily.
• Deliver titles to the correct purchasing dealer or buyer.
• Run title reports and respond to title inquiry emails.

This individual must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are followed at all times. The Title Coordinator is responsible for providing weekly reports to consignors, assisting with title processing, ensuring that titles are processed within our service level agreements. **You Are:*** **Detail-oriented**. You will meticulously process vehicle titles, ensuring accuracy and marketability.* **Proactive**. You have a self-starting mindset and can work independently with minimal supervision.* **An excellent communicator**.
