TITLE COORDINATOR
Location: Carmel, IN | In-Office
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Experience: 1–2 Years Preferred

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Title Coordinator to support title processing for a growing digital wholesale vehicle marketplace.
This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles, communicating with DMVs, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting clients with title-related questions across all U.S. jurisdictions.
It's a strong fit for someone with automotive title or administrative experience who is organized, accurate, comfortable managing a high volume of paperwork, and confident communicating with customers and state agencies.
What You'll Do
- Process vehicle title and registration applications across U.S. jurisdictions.
- Prepare recovery affidavits and other title-related documentation.
- Enter and track new title requests within the title inventory system.
- Contact DMVs regularly to obtain updates on title applications and processing.
- Review titles and supporting documents to determine what's needed to obtain a good, negotiable title.
- Accurately match titles with the correct vehicles and supporting documentation.
- Prepare title invoices and track applicable state fees and charges.
- Maintain accurate records of title transactions and document movement.
- Update vehicle inventory with appropriate title information.
- Research and resolve client questions while providing professional customer service.
- Maintain current forms, requirements, and reference materials for state title processing.
- Monitor changing DMV requirements and communicate important updates to leadership.
- Prepare reports for clients and management as needed.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, copying, and documentation.
What You'll Bring
- 1–2 years of title processing, automotive administration, or related administrative experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with high-volume documentation.
- Fast and accurate typing skills of approximately 45–60 WPM.
- Strong organization, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, telephone, and customer service communication skills.
- Proficiency with Windows and Google applications.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions, documents, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly learn internal title-processing systems and procedures.
- Comfortable working in-office Monday–Friday in Carmel, IN.
Preferred Experience
- Automotive title processing experience.
- Knowledge of multi-state vehicle titling requirements.
- Experience preparing recovery affidavits, duplicate titles, or repossession titles.
- Previous communication with DMVs or other state agencies.
- Experience using title inventory or automotive remarketing systems.
- Familiarity with NADA, Registration Textbook, or similar automotive industry resources.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
