Corporate Settlement Solutions is a provider of real estate settlement services to lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers across multiple states. We are recruiting for a remote Title Product Specialist (Title Commitment Typist). This individual will use real estate title search documentation to prepare insured title commitments in Michigan and other states. This position offers opportunities for growth within the valuation team.

Job Responsibilities

• Use title search documentation to produce final title commitments efficiently, meeting quality and turnaround standards.
• Input search data into software to create title products.
• Perform title insurance rate calculations.
• Review work for accuracy before sending to customers.
• Update and revise title products as needed, including markup of commitments.
• Respond promptly to underwriting or examination inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
• Develop knowledge of title product requirements.
• Communicate effectively as part of the Title Services team.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in purchase and refinance commitment typing.

Preferred:

• Associate's degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in Michigan-specific title commitment typing.

Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of creating title insurance commitments and products.
• Experience with real estate legal descriptions and title search notes.
• At least two years of office data entry experience with accuracy and productivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Teamwork and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Sitting for extended periods at a desk and working on a computer.
