Job summary

Capitol Title Group, in Ocean City, MD, is seeking a detail-oriented Title Insurance Processor to join our growth-focused team. You will coordinate residential closings, prepare CDs/ALTA statements, and work with pre-processors to gather mortgage payoffs and essential documents.

You will liaise with lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers to resolve title issues, ensuring files are complete and compliant with state and federal regulations while meeting closing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Title Processor in a title or settlement company.
• Strong knowledge of title processing procedures, title insurance, and closing practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with title software systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process residential purchase and refinance title files from start to finish.
• Prepare accurate Settlement Statements (CDs/ALTA) and Closing Disclosures.
• Collaborate with pre-processors to ensure timely payoffs, tax certifications, and required items.
• Communicate professionally with lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers to gather documentation and clear title issues.
• Ensure all closing files are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
• Maintain timely workflow to meet closing deadlines.
