Job summary

Navitas Credit Corp in Columbia, SC is seeking a Titling Agent to manage daily title department operations and ensure timely processing in line with policy. The role focuses on reviewing title packages, handling powers of attorney, and coordinating with our titling agency to protect Navitas' secured lien position.

The ideal candidate holds an AA degree or equivalent and demonstrates proficient computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Proficiency with Internet software, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reviews titles packages from various funding departments prior to booking of the contract.
• Notes and files power of attorney forms received from various funding departments.
• Submits title packages to our titling agency for processing.
• Follows-up on any outstanding titles as directed by management or other funding departments.
• Assists with Customer Service as needed for phone calls, assumptions, phone payments, insurance, and other functions as needed.
• Release liens when contracts are paid in full.
• Procure and assign repossession titles as needed for Recovery Department.
• Ensure duties are carried out within the written policy and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
