Job summary

Holliday Ingram, LLC in South Carolina is seeking a dedicated Title Paralegal to join our Title Team. You will review title exams, prepare title documents, and ensure clear title prior to closing through meticulous data entry and collaboration with the Title Attorney and underwriters.

Responsibilities include reviewing exams, entering data into Qualia, and communicating potential defects. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple orders

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing title exams and documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking to assess and resolve title defects or issues.
• Effective time management to handle multiple orders and tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Qualia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review title exams and documents per firm checklist and TA direction.
• Enter data into Qualia to produce title documents.
• Notify and collaborate with underwriters/TA on defects or issues.
• Document actions and notes in Qualia; coordinate with assistants as needed.
• Prepare title commitments, tax certifications, and chain of title to ensure clear title at closing.
