Job summary

Navigator Credit Union is seeking a full-time Title and Insurance Clerk to support the Titles and Insurance Department. The role covers title perfection, lien processing, and insurance coordination across MS and AL states, with potential branch coverage within the region.

You will assist members through the perfection process, process payoffs, and monitor CPI-related insurance matters while maintaining precise collateral records and delivering strong member service.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for perfecting liens on all collateralized loans.
• Process title applications through MARVIN and ALVIN.
• Perfect UCCs through state Secretaries of State.
• Update and maintain collateral title tracking for all received titles and UCCs.
• Assist members with the title perfection process in MS, AL, as well as other states.
• Process loan payoffs and prepare lien releases for members, dealerships, and insurance companies.
• Initiates and maintains the Suspense Report for loans without titles older than 60-90 days.
• Work with Collections to process repossessed titles that have been sold at auction.
• Verify that all collateral loans are properly insured.
• Contact members or insurance agents to obtain or verify insurance information.
