Job summary

The Salvation Army in Jamestown seeks a Prevention Education Title IX Advocate to join the Anew Center team. This full-time role focuses on school and community prevention education, trainings, and outreach to reduce domestic violence and sexual assault in Chautauqua County.

You will support staff with trainings, maintain records, and collaborate with health and human service agencies. A shift may include holidays and flexible coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must satisfactorily complete sexual assault training to be a certified rape crisis counselor.
• Ability to use computer systems for statistics, case files, and email communications.
• Ability to drive a 12-passenger vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide school based primary prevention education, community education, professional training, support groups and outreach.
• Coordinate educational programs for communities to raise awareness of rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
• Assist with DOH reporting and track training hours.
• Attend inter-agency, coalition, and community meetings and coordinate trainings.
• Act as a mandated reporter for child abuse and report to child protection services.
