Job summary

The Salvation Army Anew Center in Jamestown, NY seeks a Full-Time Strive Case Manager to coordinate domestic violence and rape crisis services across Chautauqua County. The role supports housing for homeless women and works from the South or North County offices.

Responsibilities include case management for clients, advocacy, coordinating resources, maintaining records, and participating in trainings to sustain certified counselor status. Evening and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates with 3–5 years experience will be considered.
• Must satisfactorily complete sexual assault training to be a certified rape crisis counselor.
• Must have computer/typing skills to complete statistics, maintain case files, and correspond via email.
• Must present themselves in a professional manner.
• Must be able to climb stairs and carry supplies to upper levels of the building.
• Must have a valid driver’s license meeting agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the Employee Handbook and program policy manuals; seek supervisory direction as needed.
• Provide comprehensive case management for DV/rape crisis clients (non-residential and residential).
• Offer accompaniment and advocacy for legal, medical, educational, financial, housing needs, etc.
• Assist clients with housing, self-sufficiency goals, and access to community resources.
• Report intakes to health/services departments; coordinate with DSS and shelter housing.
• Facilitate weekly DV support groups or related groups; maintain records and reports.
