Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for a Georgia Educator Certificate at the T-4 level or higher in core content and/or ESOL
• Exemplary integrity, confidentiality, and professional reputation
• Adherence to the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators
• Reliability to be regularly at work and present at the physical worksite
• Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and sitting, and to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental tutoring after school, during the day, on Saturdays and/or during the summer
• Work with English Learners to provide literacy intervention and content support
• Prepare Learning Plans on Literacy and content area support for each student
• Create activity/lesson plans tailored to student needs and goals
• Provide individual or small group instruction to improve academic performance
• Monitor progress and analyze data to tailor instruction
• Perform other duties as assigned
