Henry County Schools in McDonough, GA seeks a Title III Supplemental Tutoring professional to provide targeted literacy intervention and content support for English Learners. Responsibilities include tutoring after school, during the day, Saturdays, or summer and developing learning plans aligned to student needs.

Qualifications include Georgia Educator Certificate at T-4 or higher in core content and/or ESOL, commitment to ethics and confidentiality, and reliability to be present on-site.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for a Georgia Educator Certificate at the T-4 level or higher in core content and/or ESOL
• Exemplary integrity, confidentiality, and professional reputation
• Adherence to the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators
• Reliability to be regularly at work and present at the physical worksite
• Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and sitting, and to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsabilités

• Provide supplemental tutoring after school, during the day, on Saturdays and/or during the summer
• Work with English Learners to provide literacy intervention and content support
• Prepare Learning Plans on Literacy and content area support for each student
• Create activity/lesson plans tailored to student needs and goals
• Provide individual or small group instruction to improve academic performance
• Monitor progress and analyze data to tailor instruction
• Perform other duties as assigned
