Job summary

Henry County Schools in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a Title I Tutor to provide in-person tutoring and academic support to students in greatest need, reporting to the Title I Director. The role is exempt with a pay rate of $40 per hour.

You will use differentiated instruction, collaborate with teachers, monitor progress, maintain records, and prepare evaluations for the Title I Department. Work days are as needed, and duties may include meetings and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work and at the physical worksite.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and sitting are required.
• Must supervise students, particularly during emergencies.

• Provide evaluations and other reports as requested by the Title I Department.
• Participate in scheduled meetings.
• Monitor progress and analyze data to tailor instruction based on the students’ specific needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
