Gravette Public Schools is seeking a Title I Reading Interventionist/Dyslexia Interventionist at Gravette Middle School. The role provides intensive reading interventions, conducts dyslexia evaluations, and collaborates with regular teachers on evidence-based strategies.

The candidate will deliver multisensory instruction, collect RtI data, and complete required paperwork. They will report to the Building Principals and Federal Programs Coordinator and support school-wide literacy goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education with emphasis on reading.
• Valid Arkansas teaching license.
• Meets requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher designation.

Responsabilités

• Teaches district approved curriculum based on state frameworks and standards.
• Prepares for assigned classes and documents preparation.
• Develops lesson plans and provides differentiated instruction to meet student needs.
• Employs varied instructional techniques and media to fit student needs.
• Evaluates student progress and maintains records and reports.
• Identifies pupil needs and develops strategies to support those needs.
• Maintains a safe, orderly classroom and adheres to policies.
• Communicates with students, parents, and staff about education-related matters.
• Plans and coordinates work with paraprofessionals, parents, and volunteers.
• Attends faculty meetings and participates in professional development.
• Collaborates with staff to plan instructional goals and methods.
• Supports extracurricular activities and school events.
