Job summary

Westshire Elementary School seeks a Title I Academic Interventionist (.20 FTE) to provide specially designed instruction in reading, writing, and math, and to support social, emotional, and behavioral skills.

The candidate must have training and experience in writing IEPs, monitoring student progress, and understanding and following regulations related to special education and Title I services. This is a full-time position in the Rivendell Interstate School District.

Qualifications

• Experience writing IEPs and monitoring progress.
• Familiarity with Title I requirements and special education laws.
• Must hold Vermont provisional or emergency Special Education license.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted reading, writing, and math instruction.
• Teach social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
