Job summary

Conroe Independent School District seeks a Title I Campus-Elementary Academic Interventionist at Creighton Elementary. The role focuses on providing targeted reading and math interventions for K-4 students, guided by data and focused on Tier II/III supports.

The interventionist will monitor progress using CBMs, coordinate with teachers, and help families understand student performance and next steps.

Qualifications

• Three years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned
• Grades K-4: Reading Academy Certificate of Completion, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality interventions in Reading, Math or subject assigned to individual students and small groups based on student data.
• Utilize Branching Minds to document and monitor student performance, determine interventions and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to generalize skills taught and practiced during interventions.
• Use research-based interventions focused on student needs.
• Provide data, participate and support campus problem solving teams to aid in decision making.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional practices, differentiate instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers to formulate student intervention plans based on data.
• Administer CBM assessments to progress monitor.
• Interpret progress monitoring data to make instructional decisions.
• Maintain intervention schedules and required reports.
