Job summary

A local school district is seeking a Title I/SCE General Aide to provide support in classrooms and offices. The role involves performing clerical duties, working with students on instructional exercises, and assisting with school operations. The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and hold an Educational Aide I Paraprofessional Certificate. Experience with children is preferred. This is a grant funded position that lasts for 187 days on a Paraprofessional pay scale.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of administrative records.
• Help in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare materials/displays for instruction or campus operations.

Grant Funding Details

This is a grant funded position. Funds for this position are expected to be available up to the end of the school year. In addition to other specified conditions of employment, the applicant understands that no guarantee of continued employment, beyond the availability of the grant funds, is expressed or implied by Irving Independent School District. A Letter of Assurance will be issued for this position.

Provide flexibility in meeting campus needs by assisting in the office and/or in the classrooms as determined by the principal.
