Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking a Title Clerk for the Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Austin team. The role centers on motorcycle title processing, DMV compliance, and meticulous document handling to ensure accurate registrations and transfers.

Ideal candidates will have title work experience, familiarity with DMV rules, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff. A background and drug screening are required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Title work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DMV rules and requirements.
• Knowledge of loan origination functions mandatory.
• Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers as well as employees.
• Must successfully complete a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Process all new and used motorcycle registrations for the state of titling.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer work to DMVs or from receiving dealership.
• Check for accuracy in the application and ensure completeness.
• Maintain system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Process payments to titling agencies and handle duplicate title requests.
• Make lien payoffs and post motorcycle deals.
• Post F&I products sold and process end of month payments.
• Record and maintain inventory in Light Speed System.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Title Clerk to join our Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Austin team!

Responsibilities

This individual will primarily be responsible for handling information regarding Motorcycle registration and process legal documents and other state-required documents. Organized, detail-oriented individual required with previous titling experience preferred.

• Processes all new and used motorcycle for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles or from receiving dealership.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Process payments made to titling agencies.
• Process duplicate title requests as needed
• Make lien payoffs
• Post Motorcycle deals
• Post F & I products sold
• Process end of month payments
• Record and maintain new and used inventory in Light Speed System
• Other tasks as assigned
