Job summary

Retro Biosciences is seeking a new member of the HSC team to execute tissue and sample processing, focusing on isolating immune cells from animal tissues and coordinating with the in vivo group to ensure timely workflows.

You will support media preparation and cell culture maintenance for iPSC/iHSC differentiation, assist with downstream assays including flow cytometry, and help organize datasets while updating SOPs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated lab experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with mouse tissues and primary samples and meticulous labeling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to execute schedule-sensitive workflows and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day isolation of immune cells from animal tissues and coordinate with in vivo team.
• Support media preparation, media changes, and cell culture maintenance for iPSC/iHSC differentiation work.
• Assist with sample prep and handoff for downstream assays, including flow cytometry.
• Help store and organize large datasets from readouts with the bioinformatics team.
• Maintain accurate sample labels, culture logs, inventory, and reagent tracking.
• Contribute to SOPs and process improvements as ownership grows.
• Maintain a clean, organized cell-culture workspace.
