Job summary

Retro Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Analytical Development Scientist to drive non-GMP characterization for iPSC-derived cell therapy products, including microglia and hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells.

You will design and execute assays for impurities, MoA, and product stability, supporting IND submissions and long-term control strategies. You will work closely with QA, QC, and regulatory partners to ensure rigorous data, documentation, and shared understanding across teams in a

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytical development or product characterization for biologics or cell therapy.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and data analysis for product attributes.
• Experience supporting IND-enabling studies and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Own elements of the analytical characterization strategy for intermediates and drug products to support IND.
• Design non-GMP flow cytometry and functional methods to evaluate impurities, variants, and activity.
• Develop IND-enabling studies including stability, vial surrogate justification, and material compatibility.
• Develop, optimize, and document characterization methods with protocols and reports.
• Interpret data to support CQA definition, specification setting, and regulatory justification.
• Collaborate across AD, QC, and QA to connect insights to method development.
