Job summary

3A Recruiting LLC in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Process Engineer for our tissue-manufacturing facility. You will provide technical expertise to optimize recycled fiber systems and tissue mill operations, working cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, EHS, and quality teams to improve process efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in paper manufacturing, fiber recycling, or related process industry.
• Strong troubleshooting, material & energy balance, and equipment sizing skills.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and adhere to plant policies; staff PPE use.
• Support goals by implementing safety, quality, productivity directives.
• Review engineering docs (P&IDs, designs, equipment specs).
• Lead or support troubleshooting of bottlenecks and quality deviations.
• Analyze and optimize processes in recycled fiber and tissue production.
• Apply Lean and CI tools (Centerlines, RCA, JSAs).
• Coordinate changes with EHS for regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support in fiber recycling, wet lap, tissue production.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and capital initiatives.
