Job summary

LifeLink Foundation, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Donation Coordinator 2 to support the life-saving mission.

You will respond to referrals, evaluate tissue donation potential, and guide families through the authorization or donor disclosure process. The role involves medical and social history interviews, coordination with hospitals and funeral homes, and working in a 24/7 call center/office setting with potential for remote work.

Qualifications

• Medical related degree/certification required or preferred.
• Experience in a tissue banking position or medical environment is preferred.
• Experience in family or social services field is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a high call volume environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with medical professionals.
• Must have physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify legal next of kin and conduct outreach to discuss donation opportunities.
• Conduct medical and social history interviews and obtain authorization or donor disclosure.
• Coordinate donation processes following LifeLink policies and procedures.
• Document all processes timely and accurately in the electronic system.
• Verify referral data accuracy and track donation outcomes.
• Attend training and participate in departmental quality review activities.
