Job summary

LifeLink Foundation in Norcross, Georgia, is seeking a Tissue Recovery Coordinator to support its organ and tissue donation mission on-site. The role emphasizes sterile technique, case coordination, and collaboration with tissue recovery teams to ensure donor tissue procurement for transplantation.

You will participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, manage case logistics, and work with hospital staff and processing agencies to maintain compliance and high-quality recovery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or licensure as RN/PA/MT with 2 years Tissue Banking experience and AATB certification.
• Associates degree in Allied Science with 4+ years in related field and AATB certification.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Tissue Bank Standards and Procedures.
• Coordinate donor cases, staffing, logistics and communication.
• Oversee per diem staff as primary coordinator during cases.
• Maintain sterile techniques and prepare operating room, prep area, and freezer spaces.
• Ensure documentation and follow-through for tissue recovery procedures.
