Job summary

Les Schwab in Kent, WA is seeking a Sales & Service associate to install and maintain tires, service wheels, and handle related tasks with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will perform tire rotation, TPMS calibration, battery testing, and assist others while driving safe, lifting up to 75 pounds. On-site and offsite road service may be required. Compensation offers overtime eligible pay and a competitive benefits package after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Ability to lift 35-75 pounds and perform bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels; repair, rotate and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/rebuild and calibrate TPMS; wash tires and wheels; test batteries and use/maintain equipment.
• Assist other employees; test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.

Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and rebalancing wheels; installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS; washing tires and wheels; testing and installing batteries; using and maintenance of equipment; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience:

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $28.00 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
