Job summary

Delta World Tire is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee customer service and sales for automotive services and tire care. You will manage daily operations, greet customers, document service needs, and promote repairs and parts.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality service and achieving store standards. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with preferred Service Advisor experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain licensing and ASE certification as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor preferred.
• Professional appearance in a process-driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license and pass an MVR/background check screening.
• Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the telephone.
• Inspect vehicle and refer to service history to identify and verify customer’s service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate additional recommendations from the Automotive Technician.
• Promote the sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time for approved services; update customers on status.
• Follow procedures when cashing out a ticket, review multi-point inspection and explain warranties.
• Conduct post-repair and declined services follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
