Job summary

Delta World Tire is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, promote services and manage customer interactions. You will greet customers professionally, document concerns, and coordinate with technicians to determine service needs while delivering accurate quotes and updates throughout the day.

The ideal candidate has prior Service Advisor experience, a professional appearance, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license and pass an MVR/background check screening.
• Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license within 30 days of hire date.
• ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone using standardized customer service techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and refer to service history to identify service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate additional recommendations from the Technician to help customers decide; document in file.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; update customers on status throughout the day.
• Cashing out procedures including review of multi-point inspection and warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
