Job summary

Delta World Tire in Columbus, MS is seeking a Store Manager/Manager-on-Deck to drive overall store performance, guest service, and profitability. You'll manage expenses, HR, and operations to maximize sales and maintain top-quality service.

The role requires leadership, sales focus, and the ability to coach a team while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Eligible for advancement within the Sun Auto Tire & Service network.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in management or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience coaching team members to success through effective communication.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Possess valid driver’s license, or obtain one within 30 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sets expectations and communicates regularly with employees on responsibilities, goals, training, development, and customer service.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures including store audits.
• Recruits, interviews, and hires new employees in partnership with HR.
• Conducts regular performance evaluations for all employees.
• Analyzes and measures business trends; develops plans to maximize sales and meet profit targets.
• Reviews invoices and reports to identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintains store cleanliness and merchandising standards; conducts equipment inspections and coordinates maintenance.
