Job summary

Delta World Tire is one of the area’s largest independent tire dealers, offering tires and full automotive repair and maintenance. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing, selling and promoting all products and services offered by Delta World Tire by following the company’s store standards and expectations.

Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 per year with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred.
• Possess valid driver’s license and pass an MVR/background check screening.
• Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license within 30 days of hire date.
• ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Document customer concerns and inspect vehicles to identify service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate details from technicians to help customer decisions.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories and provide accurate quotes.
• Provide daily updates on service status and manage cash-out procedures.
• Perform post-repair follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
