Job summary

Big O Tires in Blue Springs is seeking a Sales Advisor to deliver fast, accurate customer service and assist with tire sales at our Missouri location. You will learn company policies, handle transactions, promote products, and help keep the store clean while delivering a positive customer experience.

The role requires strong communication, sales aptitude, and ability to perform basic math. You will be part of a team focused on customer satisfaction and store profitability.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly customer service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements to promote needed products and services.
• Effectively promote sales through explaining benefits, implementing promotions, and using suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare warranties, service agreements, and recording/registration of tire sales.
• Conduct accurate sales transactions and report any discrepancies.
• Assist store manager in meeting company expectations around ticket averages and profitability.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory, reporting, and merchandising.
• Maintain clean facilities and store appearance to Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles in service areas.
• Assist in training of new employees as needed.
• Complete required training such as Today’s Class Technician.
