Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Retread Technician in Cranberry Township. You will participate in recapping, remolding, and extending tire life by inspecting casings, buffing, repairing, and applying new tread in a manufacturing environment.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime. The role offers comprehensive benefits and training; weekend work may be required based on business demands.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread viability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Repair the casing with cement or patch before applying new tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
