Job summary

Goodyear is hiring for a Retread Technician to extend tire life by recapping, remolding, and retreading tires. The role supports the retread process through multiple stages from inspection to final quality checks.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. The position offers benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for career advancement within Goodyear's Commercial Tire Centers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread viability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Repair casing with rubber cement or patch before applying new tread.
• Build tire by applying new tread.
• Cure tire to set retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
