Goodyear is hiring a Retread Technician to extend the life of tires through remolding and retreading processes. You will work in our retread plants, performing steps from inspection to final quality checks while learning on the job and earning weekly pay with incentives.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Repair the casing with rubber cement or a patch before applying new tread
• Build the tire by applying new tread
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality
