Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring at its Cranberry Township facility to join the retread team. No prior experience required; we train you in the retread process from inspecting tires to applying new tread and final quality checks.

You will work on-site at 30 Progress Ave, Cranberry Twp PA, starting with pay of $21.00–$24.00 per hour plus incentives and weekly pay, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Repair the casing before applying new tread using rubber cement or a patch.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Perform final inspection to ensure a safe, quality product.
