Job summary

Sam's East in Columbia, MO, is seeking a Customer Service Associate for our Tire & Battery Center (TBC). You will help customers, manage tire and battery orders, assist with installations, and ensure safety and proper handling of products.

The role emphasizes strong service, product knowledge, and teamwork with the TBC team. You will prioritize tasks, understand service queues, and use Sam's Garage knowledge to guide purchases while maintaining high standards of integrity and customer care.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Auto service industry or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards on the facility and sales floor, including safety sweeps and proper handling of materials.
• Keep Tire and Battery Center organized, stocked, and merchandised per policies; manage claims, returns, and damages.
• Assist with tire and battery orders, installations, and scheduling; communicate lead times and cancellations.
• Provide expert member service, recommend products, explain warranties, and help with service decisions.
• Promote sales and service excellence; triage service workflow and prioritize appointments.
