Job summary

Sam's East in Warren, OH is seeking an associate for the Tire & Battery Center (TBC) to maintain safety, organize displays, and assist members with tire and battery services. You will manage orders, appointments, and provide trusted recommendations using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety awareness, and teamwork within the TBC and Sam's Club environment, with opportunities to upsell services and maintain merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Auto service industry experience (preferred).
• Retail experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards by following safety policies and procedures and reporting unsafe situations.
• Keeps Tire and Battery Center (TBC) merchandise organized, stocked, zoned, and displayed per policy, including handling of claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
• Monitors tire and battery orders daily and assists with installation appointments and lead time changes or cancellations.
• Provides expert member service by greeting members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases and services, and explaining warranties and options.
• Drives sales and service excellence in TBC by communicating value and promoting offerings to members.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays, prioritizes appointments to maximize efficiency, and coordinates with the team leads.
• Uses Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to guide safe and suitable tire and battery products, and to train teammates on use of tools.
