Sam's East in Woodbridge, VA, is seeking a hands-on associate for the Tire & Battery Center to uphold safety and merchandised displays while delivering exceptional member service. The role involves coordinating tire/battery installations, managing lead times, and guiding customers through service decisions.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Auto service industry, Retail Experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety by following safety policies and procedures, including hazardous material handling and reporting unsafe situations.
• Keep Tire and Battery Center organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised per company policies.
• Assist with tire and battery orders, scheduling installations, and communicating lead times or cancellations.
• Provide expert member service, recommend products, explain warranties, and resolve concerns.
• Drive sales by promoting TBC offerings and collaborating with club associates.
• Prioritize service workflow in TBC bays and manage the queue to meet service needs.
• Use Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to assist customers and explain options.
• Operate POS, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges per policies.
