Job summary

Sam's East in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas. You will collaborate with associates to meet member expectations and deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced club environment.

Responsibilities include applying safety standards, TPMS and product knowledge, operating Point of Sale, and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting team and member needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfil sales and service requests, educating associates and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, TPMS, tire and battery guidelines, service standards and equipment operations.
• Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and make business decisions.
• Manage equipment, tools and supplies needs, track returns and special orders, and handle cash registers and documentation.
• Act as a brand ambassador, defend Walmart values, and foster a respectful, team-oriented work environment.
• Comply with company policies, meet deadlines, communicate progress, and adapt to change.
• Respect individuals, support inclusion, and help teammates perform at their best.
• Operate with integrity, deliver customer-first results, and balance short- and long-term priorities.
