Job summary

Sam's Club in Idaho Falls is seeking a Tire and Battery Center associate to maintain safety standards and organize the TBC sales floor. You will assist members with tire and battery services, manage orders, and ensure accurate pricing and displays.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Auto service industry experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including safety sweeps and proper handling requirements.
• Ensures Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised per policies, including handling claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
• Presents and maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, signing and pricing, and securing fragile items.
• Monitors tire and battery orders, assists members with installations, and communicates lead times and cancellations; suggests alternatives when needed.
• Provides expert member service by greeting members, understanding needs, and guiding purchasing and service decisions using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge.
• Drives sales and service excellence in TBC by promoting merchandise value and collaborating with club associates to raise member awareness.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays, prioritizes appointments, and delegates to Team Lead or Technicians as needed.
