This role emphasizes teamwork with the Banquets department in a fast-paced hotel setting. No prior experience is required, though one year of banquet/restaurant/catering exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective and clear communication with guests and team members.

• Understanding of wines and alcoholic beverages.
• TIPs or equivalent alcohol service certification required.
• Ability to multi-task and organize multiple orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Attend functions as scheduled and set up banquet areas according to BEOs.
• Greet guests, take orders, and serve with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and station organization during service.
• Coordinate with captain and catering manager for smooth service flow.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to all policies.
• Assist with break-down, clean up, and equipment return after events.
