Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts seeks a Banquet Server to prepare for and serve guests at banquet functions, ensuring hospitality, quality presentation, and sanitation in line with hotel standards.

The role involves setup per BEO, guest interaction, beverage service, and assisting in buffet or special function layouts. Prior banquet experience and TIPS/Care certification are preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous banquet server experience preferred.
• Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified, or become certified by first day on the job.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and complete setup accordingly.
• Set tables neatly with clean linens, silverware, china, and glassware.
• Learn menu items and explain major ingredients and preparation methods to guests.
• Maintain a neat and clean station and assist in breaking down buffet or service areas.
• Assist Captain or Manager in setting up and breaking down banquet tables, bars, and other service areas.
• Serve drinks and food and follow cash and guest check procedures.
• Return excess food to kitchen per sanitation guidelines and complete side work.
