Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus four years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience.
  • Alternate combinations with an associate degree plus five years or a high school diploma plus six years are eligible.
  • Experience in administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory duties required.
  • Knowledge of timekeeping systems and city policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Timekeeping staff and support daily operations.
  • Audit processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor timesheets and leave usage to ensure proper pay.
  • Serve as CityTime administrator and enroll new hires.
  • Administer Absence Control and Lateness programs; audit special leave banks.
  • Coordinate with oversight agencies and generate reports.
