Job summary

NYC Department of Finance is seeking a Timekeeper Representative in the Time & Leave Administration unit. You will monitor weekly Citytime records, review PMS/Citytime reports, and respond to user requests while maintaining confidential records.

The role requires a high school diploma and clerical experience, with preferred knowledge of Citytime, PMS, CHRMS Ad-Hoc, and NYCAPS. Remote work up to 2 days weekly may be available.

Qualifications

  • Four-year high school diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical experience.
  • Typing ability at 100 keystrokes per minute.
  • Preferred: Citytime, PMS, CHRMS Ad-Hoc, NYCAPS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor weekly time records in Citytime.
  • Review PMS and Citytime reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to user and approver requests and update Citytime.
  • Enter timekeeping actions into PMS when outside Citytime.
  • Provide timekeeping information and resolve issues.
  • Verify requests for credit of compensatory time.
  • Maintain filing system for active/inactive employees; perform related duties.
  • Process leave requests and maintain required documentation.
  • Communicate with divisions on time and leave issues.
  • Coordinate COVID-19 time and leave policies for DOF employees.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to time and leave policies across divisions.
