Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is actively seeking a Sales Representative in the Seattle region to drive growth by servicing current accounts and cold calling potential customers.

You will conduct weekly sales calls, prepare reports, and develop monthly sales strategies to expand the dealer, contractor, and builder base. The role requires a high school diploma, 4 years of selling experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Proven selling experience, strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Lotus Notes/email.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly sales calls with existing customers and cold calls to potential customers.
• Prepare weekly sales and call reports.
• Develop monthly strategy for sales calls and travel calendar.
• Conduct area market analysis of top accounts including dealers, contractors and builders.
• Research area market product data to tailor sales strategy.
• Grow market share while maintaining product margins.
• Complete Positive Action Forms for displays and sales.
• Follow up with clients via phone and email; maintain files.
