Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is seeking a Showroom Sales Specialist to provide interior design guidance, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to influence sales and purchasing decisions within the showroom.

You will help clients select tile and stone, build specs, and drive brand awareness through demonstrations and events. Saturdays are required, and you will log visits, manage notes in CMT, and engage with builders and designers to grow business while maintaining showroom merchandising and customer

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitates tile and stone selection, and project development/support, ensuring the completion of selection/sales for all customers.
• Logs all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CMT and communicates with team to follow lead and close sales.
• Prospects for new business with Builders and Residential Designers; makes outside sales calls and logs visits and notes in CMT.
• Maintains showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and displaying models; coordinates with suppliers to stay current on product offerings and launches.
• Plans and hosts showroom tours and events for industry trade to drive customer sales and brand awareness; participates in outside trade events to build relationships.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
